It was yet another round of "Mega Event" at Ralph's this week, coupled with an 8-hour "midnight madness" sale. Lately I've been less than impressed with the mega items, but this week there were some great deals to be had on items I actually wanted to buy! The sale continues this coming week, although from a quick look at the new ad it looks like there are some different items.
All in all, I managed to come in well under my $45 weekly target and fill a lot of space in the cupboards.

Well props to Ninja Hubz for this trip, because I realized at about 8:30 on Halloween night that the good soda deals at Vons ended that night, so I sent him to the store with coupons and a detailed list. Sometimes that doesn't go well, because he occasionally decides to stray from the list. But he did perfect this time - nothing extra, and he didn't lose any coupons. Yay Ninja Hubz!

Well I didn't realize this until I started typing in my receipt here, but apparently I got my bulk white pepper for free. I think that sometimes if their bulk codes don't go through the register right, they just skip it. I remember seeing the casheir put the pepper on the scale, then take it off and do the paprika, but I was focusing on scanning my debit card at the time so I wasn't really paying attention. I imagine that with the number of times they forget my reusable bag credit, it comes out even in the end :)
